In other news, HATEBREED frontman Jamey Jasta spoke to MTV.com about his band's plans to play with SLAYER in smaller venues on off days during Ozzfest 2004. According to Jasta, JUDAS PRIEST will join them for at least two shows.
"I didn't think we were gonna get an offer from PRIEST," Jasta told MTV.com. "I thought it was just gonna be us and SLAYER, then we got a call [from PRIEST's management] for one show, and then another. Hopefully some more will come in."
With regards to once again sharing the stage with SLAYER, a band HATEBREED have toured with before and whose guitarist Kerry King guested on HATEBREED's 2002 album, "Perseverance", Jasta said, "Those guys have done more for our band over the years than just about anybody. They treat us so well, and their fans are great to us. We didn't really want to do a show with anybody else but [SLAYER], but when it came down to it, you never say no to PRIEST and Halford."
MTV.com is also reporting that second-stage headliners SLIPKNOT will headline a bill on off dates featuring main-stage openers SUPERJOINT RITUAL and second-stage act GOD FORBID. Meanwhile, Norwegian symphonic black metallers DIMMU BORGIR will play with second-stage acts BLEEDING THROUGH and LACUNA COIL. LAMB OF GOD, ATREYU, EVERY TIME I DIE and UNEARTH are expected tour together as well.
